Exact-case evidence
Do iPhone 8 and iPhone 7 cases fit iPhone SE?
The short answer
Some cases explicitly support iPhone 7, iPhone 8 and both the 2020 and 2022 iPhone SE. Identify the SE generation and exact case before relying on that claim.
Which iPhone SE do you have?
Use the full model and generation, not just “SE”. The example below names the second-generation SE (2020) and third-generation SE (2022). It does not include the first-generation SE (2016). Check Settings → General → About if you are unsure which phone you own.
One case listed for all four models
OtterBox Defender Series black SKU 77-98170 explicitly lists iPhone 7, iPhone 8, iPhone SE second generation and iPhone SE third generation. Treat that as a manufacturer claim for this product, not evidence about every case with one of those phone names.
Can you reuse your existing case?
Look up the original case model and revision. A current multi-model listing does not automatically describe every older product sold under the same series name. For an unidentifiable case, our result remains unverified.
