Manufacturer guidance
Will an iPhone 12 case fit an iPhone 13?
The short answer
Mous advises against this reuse for its cases. Our current library has no exact shared-case example for the standard iPhone 12 and 13, so we cannot recommend an unidentified case.
What the manufacturer warning establishes
Mous points to the changed camera layout when advising against putting iPhone 13 in an iPhone 12 case. We record the source as guidance about that maker’s cases. It does not supply an exact SKU or prove the same answer for every other brand.
Why a same-size comparison is insufficient
A body measurement cannot describe how a particular case handles every opening, button and edge. Start with the maker’s model list for the actual product. Screen size, a photograph or a retailer’s broad category is not enough to establish a match.
Does a 13 case fit the older 12?
This source answers the older-case-to-newer-phone direction. We do not automatically reverse it. With no exact shared SKU in our library, the reverse lookup remains unverified rather than silently becoming a yes.
The next useful step
If you own a different brand, find its case identifier and look for both exact phones in one product specification. If that information is missing, ask its manufacturer or choose a case that explicitly lists your phone. An empty result is a research gap, not proof that no shared design exists.
